HR Coordinator
Burbank, CA Temporary $22.00 - $25.00/hr Onsite

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support the daily operations of our HR department at a fast-paced distribution company based in Burbank. This role will provide broad support across HR functions, including employee records management, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and assisting with recruiting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new hires

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases

  • Support benefits enrollment and administration, including responding to employee inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HR regulations and company policies

  • Prepare HR-related documentation such as offer letters, new hire paperwork, and employee changes

  • Coordinate new hire orientations and employee training sessions

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company events

  • Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping review as needed

  • Act as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of HR experience preferred; distribution or logistics industry experience a plus

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of California labor laws is a plus
